7/2/2021 Construction update below for the next few weeks.
There will be no work on Monday, July 5th. Wishing everyone a safe and happy Independence Day!
· Bridge Work:
o Next week: finish forming the deck
o Week of 7/12: install rebar for bridge deck
o Week of 7/19: pour concrete bridge deck
· Alice Street to Harriet Street:
o Next week: finish concrete work (sidewalk, median, driveways) and start final roadway base grading
o Week of 7/12: asphalt paving
o Week of 7/19: restoration and hopefully shift traffic to the east side of Main Street on the new asphalt pavement by the end of the week
· Harriet Street to Minerva Street (West Harriet & Washington Streets)
o Next 3 weeks: continue with removals, pipe installation (water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer), and start grading the roadway working from north to south
