DOG LICENSES

DO YOU OWN A DOG? 

HAVE YOU REGISTERED YOUR DOG WITH THE CITY OF DARLINGTON?

Per City Ordinance 11.06(3)(a) – Licensing of Dogs – License Required:

  • According to State law, all dogs 5 months or older, residing in Wisconsin, are required to have a valid, current year dog license attached to their collar.
  • Licenses are good for the calendar year (January 1 – December 31), and must be renewed each year
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO GET A DOG LICENSE?
  • Provide a current copy of your dog’s ‘Certificate of Rabies Vaccination’
  • Pay the license fee
     
     
     
    HOW MUCH ARE DOG LICENSES?
    Neutered / Spayed = $6
    NOT Neutered / Spayed = $12
    Late Fee – beginning April 1st = additional $5 added  [get your license by March 31st to avoid the late fee!!]
     
    HOW/WHERE CAN YOU GET YOUR DOG LICENSE?
    * at the City Office – 627 Main Street, Monday thru Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm, Fridays 7:30am-1:30pm
    * you can also apply and pay for your dog license through our City’s website (www.darlingtonwi.org) :

    ¿TIENE UN PERRO?

    ¿HA REGISTRADO A SU PERRO CON LA CIUDAD DE DARLINGTON?

    De acuerdo con la Ordenanza Municipal 11.06(3)(a) – Licencias de Perros – Licencia Requerida:

    Según la ley estatal, todos los perros de 5 meses o más que residan en Wisconsin deben tener una licencia vigente del año en curso, colocada en su collar.

    Las licencias son válidas por el año calendario (1 de enero – 31 de diciembre) y deben renovarse cada año.

    ¿QUÉ NECESITA PARA OBTENER UNA LICENCIA PARA SU PERRO?

    • Proporcionar una copia vigente del “Certificado de Vacunación contra la Rabia” de su perro

    • Pagar la tarifa de la licencia

    ¿CUÁNTO CUESTAN LAS LICENCIAS PARA PERROS?
    Esterilizado (macho/hembra) = $6
    No esterilizado = $12
    Cargo por retraso – a partir del 1 de abril = $5 adicionales
    [¡obtenga su licencia antes del 31 de marzo para evitar el cargo por retraso!]

    ¿CÓMO/DÓNDE PUEDE OBTENER LA LICENCIA PARA SU PERRO?

    • En la Oficina de la Ciudad – 627 Main Street, de lunes a jueves, 7:30 a.m. a 4:30 p.m., viernes de 7:30 a.m. a 1:30 p.m.
