THE LAST DAY FOR LEAF PICK-UP USING THE LEAF VACCUM WILL BE FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2025.

After that date, residents will need to bag their leaves, and they will be picked up the 2nd Tuesday in December (December 9, 2025).  Or if residents do not want to wait until the December 9, 2025, they are welcome to dump their leaves in the quarry behind the City Garage located at 137 Spring Street.

The Streets Department ask that you please follow these guidelines regarding leaf pick-up:

* Leaves will be picked-up as deemed necessary – not every day

* leaves may be bagged and placed on the grass curb -or- raked to the grass curb

* if raked to the grass curb, please have the leaves in a tight wind-row along the cement curb – DO NOT blow out into the street

* DO NOT throw twigs and other perennial/lawn rubbish in with the leaves

EL ÚLTIMO DÍA PARA LA RECOLECCIÓN DE HOJAS CON LA ASPIRADORA SERÁ EL VIERNES 21 DE NOVIEMBRE DE 2025.

Después de esa fecha, los residentes deberán bolsar sus hojas, y serán recogidas el segundo martes de diciembre (9 de diciembre de 2025).
O bien, si los residentes no desean esperar hasta el 9 de diciembre de 2025, pueden llevar sus hojas al vertedero en la cantera detrás del Garage Municipal, ubicado en 137 Spring Street.

El Departamento de Calles pide que, por favor, sigan estas pautas respecto a la recolección de hojas:

• Las hojas se recogerán según sea necesario, no todos los días.

• Las hojas pueden bolsarse y colocarse sobre la franja de pasto, o rastrillarse hacia la franja de pasto.

• Si se rastrillan hacia la franja de pasto, por favor colóquelas en una hilera compacta a lo largo del borde de cemento — NO las arroje a la calle.

• NO incluya ramas ni otros desechos perennes/de jardín junto con las hojas.
