Join us on Thursday, October 3, 2024, as the Bird City of Darlington will be celebrating World Migratory Bird Day featuring amateur ornithologist, Kim Havens, with a fun & informative program on the “Sounds & Songs of Birds.” The program will begin at 3:30 pm at the Johnson Public Library. 

 

In addition to the program, an entire display will inspire reading and interest in learning more about World Migratory Bird Day.  A bird scavenger hunt is also being planned that will feature some of the beautiful bird statues that inhabit the city of Darlington.

 

All ages are invited to gain an even greater appreciation for our Bird City community and nature.
