Darlington Police Department Promotions

The City of Darlington is pleased to announce key personnel updates regarding the Police Department's leadership and police force. 

Nicholas Mantsch, who has served as Sergeant with the Darlington Police Department, has been appointed as the new Chief of Police. Bringing extensive law enforcement experience and a strong commitment to community-oriented policing, Mantsch will lead the department in its continued mission to ensure public safety and serve the residents of Darlington. 

In addition to the appointment of the new Chief, the department is pleased to announce the promotion of Part-Time Officer Elizabeth Charlson Collins to a full-time position. Officer Collins demonstrated outstanding dedication and service during her tenure with the department, and this transition to full-time status will further strengthen the department's daily operations and community coverage.
