Book a Venue

The shelter houses can be reserved for your family picnic, party/celebration, company picnic, or reunion. The shelters are on a first-come-first-served basis unless they are reserved.
Rental Fee
A fee of $75.00 is charged to reserve a shelter, plus a $50.00 security deposit, which is refundable if facilities meet the 'Clean-Up Requirements', and are in clean and orderly condition.
Amenities

Shelters are equipped with:

  • picnic tables
  • electrical outlets
  • charcoal grill (you must bring your own charcoal and utensils)
  • restroom facilities nearby
  • playground equipment (except Black Bridge Park shelter)
Checking in
Please do not use staples to secure any decorations, table clothes, or signs.

Clean-Up Requirements for Security Deposit Refund
1.  All picnic tables should be wiped clean of all spills and food.
2.  Shelter House floor should be swept clean of all foods, spills, and garbage.
2.  All table cloths, decorations, and signs should be removed, along with whatever means you used to fasten them (tape, thumbtacks, etc.)  (staples should not be used on the shelter house or picnic tables)
3.  All trash must be picked up and in the proper receptacle.  If the garbage cans are full, the remaining trash can be put in garbage bags and placed next to the garbage cans. (PLEASE DO NOT OVER FILL THE GARBAGE CANS!)
4.  All picnic tables and garbage cans must be moved back to their original locations in the shelter house.
5. If you use the charcoal grill, please make sure you do not place warm/hot coals in the garbage can.
